Two of my works have been selected to be part of the group exhibition Significant Colour , organized by PH21 Gallery , a renowned contemporary photography gallery located in Budapest where the exhibition is held from May 31 to June 24, 2025.

Significant Colour examines the central role of color in photography: its narrative power, its emotional charge, and its ability to guide our reading of an image. More than just an aesthetic element, color here becomes a language in its own right, a tool of meaning as powerful as the composition and/or the subject itself.

The exhibition's curator, Denise Heinrich-Lane , has offered a rich and subtle selection of works from around the world, where each image uses color in a significant way, whether vibrant, restrained, symbolic, or disturbing. I was particularly struck by the diversity of approaches and the coherence of the visual dialogue between the photographers presented.

My work, exhibited in this context, is fully in line with this reflection. I sought to use color not only as a visual cue, but as a gateway to emotion and ambiguity. Each shade was designed to carry meaning, to evoke a particular, almost palpable atmosphere. Here, color becomes a presence in its own right, guiding the gaze and nourishing the viewer's imagination.

Participating in this exhibition was a very enriching experience, not only for the visibility offered by the PH21 Gallery space , but also for the creative exchanges it generated between artists, curators and visitors.

I would like to warmly thank Denise Heinrich-Lane for her sensitive and demanding curatorial approach, as well as the entire PH21 Gallery team for their hospitality and professionalism. It is an honor to have been able to present my work in a venue committed to the dissemination of international contemporary photography.
